The silk bath sachet has cotton ties to securely contain your herbs. The sachet is made of beautiful creamy crepe de chine silk that I got second hand. The bag is finished with french seams to ensure that no bits of herb get caught in the threads. Over time this white sachet will be dyed naturally by the herbs that you use in your bathes. How to Create a Nourishing Herbal Bath

The Soothe Thyself Herbal Bath Blend is designed to relax and nourish you both inside and out. The silk sachet is also a wonderful for exfoliation, removing dead skin and helps to invigorate the lymphatic system.

Lavender – Cleanses and heals the skin and eases muscle soreness all while relaxing and rejuvenating the nervous system.

Chamomile – Chamomile helps to soothe topical inflammation and skin irritations. Emotionally, chamomile can help to calm down after a stressful day or triggering event.

Rose Petals –  Roses are anti-inflammatory and help to heal inflamed conditions of the skin. They are well known for their heart-opening abilities and can help those suffering from heartache <3

Catnip – Catnip isn’t just for cats! It’s soothing and relaxing effects are useful for day to day stress and in reducing menstrual pain. Its astringent nature can also help tighten the skin. Bonus: Catnip has been found to be about ten times more effective at repelling mosquitoes than DEET, which is the active ingredient in most insect repellents. I take catnip bathes regularly and rarely get bit by mosquitos.. coincidence?

Linden – Linden flowers act as a mild sedative, helping to ease away the tensions and stress of the day. Linden also cools and soothes hot irritable skin conditions.

Creating a luxurious herbal bath is easy! Place around 1 cup of herb blend into the sachet and tie. Bring 6 cups of water to a boil and let steep around 30 minutes or up to 4 hours. Pour into bath and enjoy! The silk sachet doubles as an exfoliating scrub to remove dead skin and invigorate flow in the lymphatic system.
